Novelties
The all-electric Nissan Ariya coupe SUV, goes on sale as an ID-4 opponent in September 2021.

Jaguar is giving the XF and XF Sportbrake a facelift in January. The E-Pace and F-Pace SUV models will receive the same facelift in February.

From April, a plug-in hybrid powertrain will also be available for both model series. From October, the gentleman in the model range, the XJ, will be completely renewed and will in future be powered purely by electricity.

Jeep Gladiator enters the race with a brawny 285 hp
From March, the Jeep Gladiator will be less distinguished. With an extended wheelbase, the Wrangler becomes a pickup under this name and delivers a whopping 285 hp with its 3.6-liter V6.

In April, the Wrangler will then arrive as a plug-in hybrid with the powertrain familiar from the Compass, and the Jeep under the sign of the compass rose is then slated for a gentle makeover in September.

Huracán STO most brutal Lambo with road approval
With the Huracán STO, Lamborghini brings what is probably the most brutal road-legal Lambo onto the track. The 640 hp of the V10 only have to accelerate just under 1400 kilograms, and a top speed of 310 km/h is possible.

The Urus hyper-SUV is no slouch either. Its 4.0-liter engine has only eight cylinders in the performance-enhanced Performante variant, but delivers 650 hp thanks to a biturbo. An automatic with eight gears sends the maximum 850 Newton meters of torque to all four wheels.

At Land Rover, the Defender 110 with a 3.0-liter diesel will roll out in January, and the Range Rover Velar will get a visual refresh and a plug-in version in February.

NoveltiesGrecale is the name of the little brother of the Maserati Levante
Maserati launches the MC20 super sports car in May. It develops 639 hp from a displacement of just three liters and six cylinders. Its aerodynamics have been sharpened by development partner Dallara, and a convertible and an all-electric version are to follow.

The Levante SUV will be at least partially electric in September. Its smaller brother Grecale has been announced for October. At 4.70 meters long, it will be 30 centimeters shorter. Gasoline and diesel engines are planned, and a hybrid drive is also expected.

From November, the Mazda CX-7 will be available at the garage.
Mazda is baking smaller but more affordable rolls and is giving the MX-5 a makeover in April. As in the case of the CX-3, the revamp will probably be marginal and affect the technology and especially the connectivity less than the looks. From November, the large CX-7 will expand the Japanese model range as a top SUV.

The C-Class is topic number 1 at Mercedes-Benz
Even though the long-announced electric versions of the GLA and GLB with ranges of at least 400 kilometers will kick off the year at Mercedes-Benz under the model designations EQA and EQB, attention is focused entirely on the new C-Class, which will be shown as a sedan and estate in the spring. It will retain the diesel engine, but a plug-in version with an electric range of up to 70 kilometers is also planned. A striking feature is the large

display in the center console, which delivers HD quality in DIN A4 format. In the same month, the most luxurious S-Class hits the streets as a Maybach, followed in July by the facelifted CLS.

The EQS, an electric version of the S-Class, then focuses on a large format, with the cut of a coupe making the difference to the presentation sedan clear.

Mercedes will present the AMG editions of the C-Class, the redesigned SL as a 2+2-seater with a fabric roof and the again electric EQE at the end of the year.

And there's a GT 73 AMG coming as an 800-hp plug-in hybrid, while at the other end of the spectrum, the Citan small truck derived from the Renault Kangoo is being replaced by the T-Class.

NoveltiesMG from China with a system output of 258 hp
MG is another Chinese brand entering the market. The Saic subsidiary, which has been active in the UK for several years, is initially launching the compact plug-in SUV EHS with a lush 258 hp system output.

NoveltiesMitsubishi Eclipse Cross now also available as a plug-in hybrid
After reports to the contrary, Mitsubishi is now likely to remain loyal to the European market after all and is reaffirming this intention with the launch of the Eclipse Cross as a plug-in hybrid.

Exactly how it will run has not yet been determined. There is a system output of 224 hp, the electric range is 54 kilometers, and the total possible driving distance of both drives is around 800 kilometers.

Third generation of the Nissan Qashqai is ready for production
Nissan is bringing the third generation of the Qashqai to dealers in June and wants to bring the SUV closer to premium with a significant interior upgrade. A hybrid system replaces the diesel engine, the body is 60 kilograms lighter and the trunk gains 50 liters thanks to smarter use of the volumes in the rear.

The all-electric Ariya coupe SUV will go on sale as an ID-4 competitor in September 2021. The stylishly designed four-door vehicle is expected to travel a good 500 kilometers on one battery charge and can also tow trailers weighing 1500 kilograms.

The Astra has a big premiere at Opel in November
Immediately after the turn of the year, the Opel Crossland will be launched with a facelift and the electric Zafira e-Life. After that, two other models will be the focus of the Rüsselsheim-based company despite all the electrification.

The all-new Mokka will be launched in March, simultaneously with combustion engines and as a full-blooded electric. The power range is between 100 hp and 130 hp. The Mokka-e delivers the PSA Group's familiar 100 kW (136 hp) and gets up to 320 kilometers on a single charge.

In the course of the year, the Grandland (then without the X) will get a makeover and the Combo Life an e-drive. Things will get exciting in November when the next generation of the Astra makes its debut.
