This video from Berlin shows the environment in which Volkswagen sees the new R based on the T-Roc.

The powerhouse is a four-cylinder TSI engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters, which delivers 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque. With this engine, the T-Roc R, which weighs 1575 kilograms and is not particularly light, can reach 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h, which is reached in the sixth of seven gears. There is no end to the driving pleasure.

The Volkswagen T-Roc R is trimmed for sportiness down to the smallest detail. The video shows details.

Surprisingly sporty acoustics
By the way, the developers have managed to create surprisingly sporty acoustics, which can be further emphasized by a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic. Heads are sure to turn when the throttle is opened in built-up areas.

Depending on the driving mode, electronic sound elements are also mixed in. These seem authentic and go well with this sporty four-cylinder.

Most beautiful variant of the series
The sports seats offer good lateral support, and their design looks as high-quality as it does sporty. Otherwise, however, the R variant also suffers from the hard plastic components. It would be helpful if Volkswagen offered a head-up display.

The R variant from the outside is clearly the most beautiful T-Roc. Because while the other versions have pseudo-air vents stacked on top of each other in duplicate, this one has fewer, but larger and in some cases more functional elements. That's what makes a car fun.
