The ID.3 looks attractive. Let's see what it has to offer inside.

Life, Style, Business, Family and Tech are the names of the preconfigured models available for immediate order, with variants available from the fourth quarter of 2020. All have a range of up to 420 kilometers.

They are based on the base model ID.3 Pro Performance with a 58 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive with 150 kW (204 hp). This ensures a maximum torque of 310 Nm and acceleration from a standstill to 60 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

With the tour to bigger tours
The Tour model is based on the ID.3 Pro S, which is offered with a larger battery (77 kWh) for up to 550 kilometers of range and a 125-kW DC charging capacity.

The price of 51,100 francs includes an augmented reality head-up display, matrix LED headlights, the Comfort Package Plus, and front seats with electric twelve-way adjustment and massage function.

The Plus package with all driver assistance systems, a heat pump and 19-inch aluminum wheels are also included. The Tour can also be ordered.

Cornering and cruising is fun
Anyone who enjoys driving will be delighted with the ID.3. After more than 300 kilometers on German country roads and highways, the electric newcomer has also been able to show what it can do in real everyday use.

The battery pack keeps the center of gravity low and the weight distribution ideal. Cornering, accelerating out of corners and cruising casually - that's really fun. The fact that the car is driven via the rear axle is a fine thing in terms of driving dynamics.

Maximum recuperation in B mode
You can choose between the normal D driving mode, in which the electric model rolls blithely along in traffic, or the B mode, which stands for maximum recuperation. You get used to this very quickly, and the B driving mode is probably the ideal one for most drivers, because the one-pedal feeling makes the brake pedal almost redundant.

Now we are looking forward to the first trips through Switzerland.
