The ID.3 and ID.7 Tourer GTX are all about sportiness.

Since 2021, the sportiest VW models in the all-electric ID series have borne the GTX label - in reference to the dynamic models with the designations GTI, GTD and GTE. A powerful drive, special body design with its own front and light signatures and sporty design details in the interior are characteristic of these vehicles. Today, every fifth newly registered ID.4 and ID.5 in Europe is already a GTX model. Volkswagen has now transferred these successful drive dynamics to the ID.3 GTX (gallery right) and the ID.7 GTX Tourer (gallery left).

Kai Grünitz, VW Brand Board Member for Technical Development: "With the ID.3 GTX, Volkswagen is transferring the almost 50-year tradition of its compact GT models to the world of e-mobility. Driving pleasure is guaranteed. Volkswagen will launch the rear-wheel drive ID.3 GTX in two variants. The top model is the ID.3 GTX Performance."

The ID.3 GTX differentiates itself from the other models in the series with an individualized exterior design. The specific front bumper has a new black air intake with a diamond design. The bumper is bordered on the left and right by new daytime running light elements. The 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels are also new. Numerous GTX-specific features also individualize the interior.

Kai Grünitz: "The ID.7 GTX Tourer paves the way for a new kind of sporty mobility by combining the spaciousness of a large estate with the performance of a sports car. With the ID.7 GTX Tourer, VW is launching the most powerful model in the series. Like the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX, it has dual-engine all-wheel drive."

The front end of the new Tourer stands out from the other models in the series thanks to its independent bumper with a honeycomb grille and GTX-typical light graphics. As with the ID.3 GTX, all black elements have a high-gloss finish. This also applies to the side skirts and the GTX-designed lower section of the rear bumper. As with the ID.3 GTX, the ID.7 GTX Tourer comes with 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels as standard. The trunk capacity of up to 1714 liters is just as large as that of the rear-wheel drive variants.
