The more powerful powertrain seems to suit the expressive model better than the 1.8-liter hybrid gasoline engine with 122 hp (90 kW) system output, which, however, remains in the lineup. The standard consumption of the new engine is given as four liters per 100 kilometers. The model series receives striking design modifications to the front and rear.
Apple Carplay and Android Auto
The wheel suspension has also been revised and noise and vibration levels reduced. The new multimedia system allows smartphone integration via Apple Carplay and Android Auto and supports wireless "over the air" updates of the navigation maps.
Taillights now in LED technology
Exterior distinguishing features of the new model year are the painted lower front lip and front headlights and taillights in LED technology. Daytime running lights and turn signals are combined in a single unit above the main headlights, and the lights at the rear are joined by a glossy black spoiler.
Swiss prices have not yet been set. The new C-HR will celebrate its Swiss premiere at the Auto Zürich Car Show (October 31 to November 3).
