Priced at 151,900 Swiss francs, the XJR575 boasts 575 horsepower and a torque peak of 700 Nm (factory specs), 25 additional horsepower over the previous most powerful version; top speed increases to 300 km/h.
New colors
The XJR575 thus cements the XJR's status as the fastest Jaguar production sedan. Its customers have a choice of two tones exclusive to the XJR575, Velocity Blue and Satin Corris Grey, in addition to the color palette available on the other XJ models.Exterior parts on the top model include a rear spoiler lip, wider and flared door sills, air vents on the hood and additional intake vents in the front apron.
Additional driver assistance and safety systems
Separate from the new XJR575, Jaguar has technologically upgraded all XJ models for the 2018 model year. Starting with a 4G WiFi hotspot that allows occupants to be permanently online with up to eight external devices via the 10'' color touchscreen with Dual View technology. In addition to improved readability, the display offers gesture controls such as zooming or swiping. Among the new driving assistance systems now entering the Jaguar XJ is an autonomous emergency braking assistant with pedestrian protection.
Engine range
In addition to the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 for the new top model, Jaguar offers the XJ with two powerful V6 engines. The 3.0-liter gasoline engine with 250 kW/340 hp, which like the V8 is powered by a supercharger, comes with all-wheel drive from the factory. The twinturbo diesel, also three liters in size, with 221kW/300 hp is available in all trim levels below the XJR575. In all XJ models, power gets to the road via an eight-speed 8HP70 automatic from ZF.
