At the same time, Honda is planning to press ahead with the electrification of its model range in the automotive sector: All volume models in Europe are to have an electrified drive system by 2022.

Model version in the style of an SUV
The Crosstar version in SUV style is a new addition to the range. Identical to the standard model in terms of drive and equipment, the Jazz Crosstar has more ground clearance, a unique radiator grille design and integrated roof rails.

The Jazz model range was extended with the strikingly styled Crosstar in two colors.

Improvement in torsional rigidity
New technologies in the design of the frame structure have enabled significantly narrower A-pillars (half the width of the previous model). This extends the horizontal field of vision on both sides in the direction of travel.

The slim design of the A-pillar is based on significantly improved torsional rigidity and innovative construction methods, thanks to which the forces in the event of a collision are optimally deflected in the direction of the door post and the front side window area.

The equipment quality of the new Jazz from Honda offers a sophisticated level in the B-segment.

Performance with two motors
For the first time in Europe, the new Jazz is available exclusively (as standard) with hybrid drive, similar to the CR-V. The innovative drive concept with two perfectly synchronized engines enables an exceptional combination of high performance, responsive acceleration and economical consumption. The specifically designed, redefined drive system ensures a smooth, agile and direct driving experience in the new Jazz.

The Honda Jazz is expected to be launched in March next year. The Swiss price and equipment levels have not yet been set.
