Under steel-blue skies and bone-chilling cold, the new Impreza 2.0i e-BOXER Advantage was unveiled in the middle of nowhere in Rovaniemi, Finland. The new model features symmetrical all-wheel drive, which ensures a safe driving experience in difficult road conditions.

The combination of the 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine and the electric drive ensures that the most sensible and economical form of drive can always be selected depending on the circumstances. Depending on the driving application and battery charge, the Impreza e-Boxer can be driven up to 1.6 kilometers in pure electric mode at speeds of up to 40 km/h.

In order not to lose the 385 liters of storage space in the trunk of the Impreza e-Boxer, the 118V lithium-ion battery pack has been positioned under the cargo floor. The battery pack is warranted by Subaru for 160,000 kilometers or eight years.

At just under 80 mph, Carlabelle felt how icy cold wind can be during the snowmobile sprint.

Assystence systems and launch
All Impreza e-Boxers are equipped as standard with the EyeSight driving assistance system, which constantly monitors the driver and his condition as well as the surroundings and warns the driver in the event of danger. Of course, you don't have to do without the classics like Adaptive Cruise Control or Lane Departure Warning. The Impreza e-Boxer will be launched in May 2020 and is available in the Advantage version from 34,150 Swiss francs.
