Scala
Students discuss the new Spider model at the company's headquarters in Mladá Boleslav.

As part of a workshop at the company's headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, the vocational students met with chief designer Oliver Stefani and put their initial ideas on paper with him and his team.

Scala
The first sketches show what the open Spider could look like. The technology comes from the Scala.

Open Spider based on the Scala
The students are developing (and building!) an open Spider based on the Scala. The seventh trainee car does not yet have a name and will be presented to the public in early June.

For their first designs and sketches, the students received help and tips from Škoda Design employees and impressed the professionals with their enthusiasm and curiosity.

Jiří Hadaščok, Exterior Design Coordinator: All the participants have shown great enthusiasm and determination from the very beginning. Their sketches are really impressive, I like the concept a lot.

Spectacular concept vehicles
The apprentice car tradition has been in place since 2014. Students at the Škoda vocational school in Mladá Boleslav have been allowed to plan, develop and build a spectacular concept car themselves every year since then. Each of these concept cars is intended to showcase the creativity and commitment of the young talent.
