A new car in our country could hardly be more seductive than the new Skoda Kodiaq RS. As a 4.70-meter SUV, it offers space for five or seven people, is richly equipped, and delivers plenty of driving pleasure thanks to its high-torque diesel engine.
Design reinforces striking appearance
Naturally, the engine power is transmitted to the road via all four wheels. Visually, the new top-of-the-line Kodiaq also makes a confident appearance: The radiator grille, exterior mirror housings and roof rails are glossy black, and the special 20-inch alloy wheels and full-LED headlights hint at dynamism.
Clearly sporty and ambitious with 245 hp
With the epithet RS, which stands for rally sport, it draws attention to unimagined driving performance. The 245 hp, but above all the enormous torque of 500 Nm accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and let it run up to 221 km/h where still possible and permitted. The driver also has a choice of five driving dynamics profiles.
On request there is a third row of seats
The Kodiaq RS already comes as standard with an electrically adjustable driver's seat, a dynamic navigation system, a variable load compartment floor, the DCC adaptive chassis control system and many assistance systems. Virtually all electronic helpers available today are included in the High Lux package, which costs 2550 francs extra.
The new RS model will be available from January at a price of 56,240 Swiss francs. The third row of seats costs a further 840 francs.
