The new Škoda Octavia is available in Switzerland exclusively in the Combi body variant.

Exactly 60 years after its debut, Škoda is presenting the completely revamped Octavia with the fourth generation. The bestseller - the best-selling car in Switzerland three times in a row and produced over seven million times worldwide - can now be ordered from agents.

Drive variants as required
The new Octavia offers a variety of drive options depending on requirements, which should and certainly will meet different mobility needs. The choice includes gasoline and diesel units, natural gas drive (CNG), and plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid technology.

Plug-in hybrid technology combines dynamic driving characteristics with efficiency and sustainability. Depending on the model version, the Octavia is equipped with front-wheel or 4×4 drive.

Octavia
The range of engines (110 hp to 245 hp) in the new Octavia Combi meet every need.

New 150 hp gasoline engine at launch
For the Swiss market launch, the Octavia is available with a new 1.5 TSI 150 hp gasoline engine with cylinder deactivation for more economical consumption, as well as two 2.0 TDI diesel units (115 hp or 150 hp).

The plug-in hybrid variants - including a 245-hp RS version - and the mild hybrid version as well as the G-Tec with natural gas drive and the 4×4 versions will follow later.

Largest trunk in the class
With a length of 4689 millimeters, the Octavia, which is only available in Switzerland as a Combi, has grown by 22 millimeters; its width has increased by 15 millimeters. The volume of the largest luggage compartment in the vehicle class has increased by 30 liters to 640 liters.

The new front apron and the sharply designed, flatter new headlights with standard LED technology for low beam, high beam and daytime running lights add visual highlights. The taillights, brake lights and rear fog lights also feature LED technology.

Octavia
The new instrument panel in the Octavia is dominated by a central large display.

Ergo seats and head-up display
In the redesigned interior, the Octavia offers not only further increased space but also a new two-spoke steering wheel, which can be optionally heated and with which 14 different functions can be performed in the multifunction variant. The instrument panel, which has also been redesigned, is modular in design on different levels and features a large, free-standing central display.

The Škoda Octavia is premiering the optional Ergo seats, which are particularly back-friendly, offer an electric massage function, and can be ventilated. They bear the seal of approval of the Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR) (Healthy Back Campaign).

The optional head-up display is also making its debut. It projects the most important information such as speed, navigation instructions, recognized traffic signs or the activated driver assistance systems onto the windshield.
