The new model is largely the same as the Vision IV study shown at the Geneva Motor Show a year ago and, with a length of 4.66 meters, is slightly shorter than the Octavia but outperforms the VW ID.3, with which it shares the Group platform.
The basic models are driven via the rear axle, and only the more powerful variants have a second electric motor for the front axle. Depending on the power variant, the Enyaq can pull loads of up to 1200 kilograms - a rarity in the world of electric vehicles.

Range up to 500 kilometers
The entry-level iV 50 version has a 55 kWh battery and powers a 109 kW drive in the rear. The range is 340 kilometers. In the Enyaq iV 60, power increases to 62 kWh and the range to around 390 kilometers.
Finally, the top model can travel 500 kilometers on one battery charge. The two all-wheel-drive models also use the 82 kWh energy storage unit and can travel 460 kilometers on one charge.
At the start there are three power levels
Škoda quotes charging times of between 40 minutes and six to eight hours, depending on the charging technology. With the "MyŠkoda Powerpass, the brand gives its customers access to most charging stations in the European Union.
The Enyaq is launched on the market in three performance levels. The base model is powered by a 109 kW (148 hp) engine. The Enyaq iV 60 has a 132 kW (180 hp) unit, and the top model reaches 150 kW (204 hp).

Information on 13-inch screen
The Enyaq iV offers the largest interior in the Škoda SUV fleet. The driver and co-pilot look at a 13-inch screen that provides all the important information and can be used to control the infotainment.
In front of the steering wheel, the Škoda creatives placed clearly arranged displays. Please see the gallery.
Premiere at the Tour de France
One of the first Enyaq customers is Tour de France boss Christian Prudhomme, who will use the latest Škoda as a control center for the Tour of France during selected stages in the coming weeks.
Prices for Switzerland have not yet been determined.
