Škoda: The Vision 7S shows the future 🎥
The Czechs are now putting the pedal to the metal at Škoda, because the VW subsidiary is also moving in the direction of electromobility. Škoda plans to launch three more electric vehicles by 2026.
The electric Karoq will kick things off in 2024, followed a year later by the successor to the Citigo E. There will also be a large seven-seater in 2026.
The Vision 7S concept study already provides a preview of the electric SUV. The study also shows the new design language, including a new brand logo.
Modern confident styling
With a length of just over five meters, the Vision 7S study is a stately sight and makes its presence felt. With the later production model, Škoda will therefore continue to expand the model range upwards and would also like to tap into new customer groups.
In addition, the study shows the new design language including a new brand logo only for the front and rear without an arrow.
Robust appearance of the front
The front end is completely new with a slim radiator grille and superimposed headlights in the T-signature, while the underride guard with its seven air vents ensures a robust appearance. The latter is just as striking at the rear, which is also flanked by T-shaped taillights.
Up to seven seats are available on request
With a wheelbase of a good three meters, the Vision 7S offers plenty of space. The show car also has a variable space concept with up to seven seats. Or rather six and a half, because in addition to six full-size individual seats, a baby seat can be mounted on the center console of the study.
Sustainable materials are also used in the interior of the study. The vehicle floor, for example, is made from recycled car tires. Underneath is an 86 kWh battery pack, which is intended to enable a range of up to 600 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
Prices and sales launch for Switzerland are not yet available.
