The new Stromer is strongly based on the 2019 Vision iV study, and at 4.65 meters long, 1.88 meters wide and 1.62 meters high, it is quite a bit larger as an SUV than the VW ID.3.
Visually, however, the Enyaq bears little resemblance to its VW counterpart, but fits seamlessly into the design philosophy of Å koda's current model range.
The designers tailored similar beading into the Enyaq iV as in the current Octavia or the Kamiq mini SUV, and the rear end also has the brand's typical style.

130 LEDs illuminate the striking front
Only the very striking front stands out a bit: The grille is quite large and makes the electric car look mighty. For an additional charge, the front can even be illuminated (Crystal Face). 130 LEDs illuminate the front and are supposed to enable an animated coming and leaving home function. Quite a lot of show.
When driving, the Enyaq is closer to a Å koda Kodiaq than to most electric cars of the first hour - namely authentic instead of synthetic. The seating position is sublime, the steering is direct, acceleration is harmonious, and braking with recuperation and the rear drum brakes is sensitive. And the fact that the car weighs around two tons is bravely absorbed.
Additional tray with 48 liters of storage space
And the Czechs save one more specific feature of the Stromer: The free space for the feet in the front row. Because development head Christian Strube felt it was important to have a large storage space for everyday use, the Enyaq has a high, albeit airy center tunnel.
Christian Stube: "We could hardly have created 48 liters of additional storage space in the cabin any other way."
Range of more than 520 kilometers
The Enyaq iV has rear- or all-wheel drive, and there is also a choice of five power levels and battery sizes of 60 kWh and 80 kWh. With a range of more than 520 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, it is fully suitable for travel. The Swiss market launch will take place on May 21, 2021. Swiss prices have not yet been set.
