Salon Paris: Comeback of a beloved icon 🎥

4EVER TROPHY With the all-electric 4ever Trophy study, Renault is showing an impressive homage to the Renault 4, sold and loved by millions, at the Mondial de l'Auto until October 23.

Renault's 4ever Trophy concept car provides a first impression of the compact electric SUV that is scheduled for market launch in 2025. At the same time, the show car is reminiscent of the 4L Trophy rally, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is completed exclusively with the iconic five-door car.

Renault 4ever Trophy
Renault's 4ever Trophy concept car is scheduled to go on sale as a production model in three years.

Car for travel, work and as transports
For more than 60 years, the Renault 4 has connected generations and social classes. It is a versatile car both in the city and in the countryside for traveling, for driving to work and as a spacious van.
Although production ended 30 years ago, the 4L, as the Renault 4 is known in France, was always present in the public eye. As a classic youngtimer, it impressed with its reliability and became a public favorite, especially among the younger generation.

Drive with 100 kW strong synchronous motor
Unlike the original, the show car now presented, the all-electric 4ever Trophy, is powered by a 100 kW synchronous motor. After the Renault 5 Prototype, this car is the second electric vehicle from Renault to be launched as part of the Renaulution.

Its design cites important features of the historic model: the silhouette, the characteristic hatchback and the rear side windows. The unmistakable Renault 4 radiator grille with round headlights is representative of the combination of the modern and the past.

Ready for trips through difficult terrain
The silver paint and magenta accents on the bumpers, wheels and mounting straps for the spare wheel on the carbon fiber roof give the 4ever that certain something.

Short overhangs provide large slope angles. With the spare tire mounted on the outside, as well as a shovel and sand plates above the rear window, the vehicle is well equipped for any off-road situation.
