Shortly after the presentation of the new Alpine A 110 at the Geneva Motor Show, the first series was sold out. Some Swiss customers also bought the car.

The first Alpine A110 Première Editions produced in limited series should be seen on Swiss roads from November 2017.

The passion
Even before the official launch of the new A110, Alpine is rebuilding the brand by taking the sporty DNA from the brand's history and placing it in a modern environment. The common denominator was quickly found: La passion! Passion on four wheels!

Five centers planned
In Switzerland, Alpine is currently preparing the launch of the brand and the new Alpine A110 with five centers - with trained specialists for advice, maintenance, financing and customer care. The Swiss Alpine centers in St. Gallen, Winterthur, Zurich, Ecublens (near Lausanne) and Conthey (near Sion) have a showroom and the option of offering test drives to interested customers.

Première Edition for Europe
Anyone thinking of test-driving the first series of the new sports car will be out of luck - unless they are among the first 1955 customers who responded immediately at the beginning of December 2016. To honor Jean Rédélé, who founded the Alpine brand in 1955, Alpine is building exactly 1955 cars in the exclusive premiere series. Less than seven days after orders opened, the Alpine A110 Première Edition was sold out.

The myth lives
Lightweight construction and compact dimensions with a length of 4178 mm, a width of 1798 millimeters and a height of just 1252 meters ensure a sporty appearance. The chassis and body are made of aluminum. The weight distribution is also optimal: 44 percent of the vehicle's weight is on the front axle, 56 percent on the rear axle. The arrangement of the engine in front of the rear axle and the tank behind the front axle allows mass to be concentrated at the vehicle's center of gravity.

Power
The new 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine in the A110 develops 185 kW / 252 hp and delivers a maximum torque of 320 Nm (factory data). The lush engine output and low vehicle weight of 1080 kilograms result in a power-to-weight ratio of 4.2 kilograms per hp. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission specially developed for the new Alpine. The driver can choose between the three driving programs "Normal," "Sport" and "Track," which can be used to regulate the response of the engine and accelerator pedal, the feedback from the steering wheel, the intervention parameters of the ESP, the exhaust sound and the display in the instrument cluster.
