The hybrid combines elegant lines with a spacious interior. The model offers a comprehensive package of driver assistance systems. Standard features include emergency brake assist with pedestrian detection, traffic sign recognition and distance warning. The adaptive cruise control with stop & go function and the highway and congestion assistant are available as options.
New platform offers passive safety
Thanks to the use of high-strength steels for key zones of the bodyz, the new CMF-B platform offers a high level of passive safety. The Arkana also meets high standards for restraint systems: The six airbags are joined by seatbelt tensioners with force limiters and Isofix child seat anchorage points.
No submarining effect in the event of an impact
The so-called Fix4sure technology prevents the dreaded submarining effect, i.e. slipping under the lap belt, in the event of a collision. The crash-resistant body and assistance equipment helped the Arkana score five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test.
