Renault: New Alpine coming at the end of the year

With the Alpine Vision, Renault has given a foretaste of the revival of the legendary brand in the coming year. The design of the sporty two-seater is recognizably based on the famous A 110, which was also very successful in Switzerland. The four-cylinder turbocharged engine developed by Renault Sport is said to take the Alpine Vision from zero to [...] in 4.5 seconds.

The four-cylinder turbo engine developed by Renault Sport is expected to accelerate the Alpine Vision from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The production model planned for 2017, which the study is already said to be very close to, will be built at the Alpine plant in Dieppe on the French Channel coast, where the A 106 to A 610 models were already built between 1955 and 1995. The Alpine Vision is 80 percent the same as the sports car that will be unveiled as a production vehicle at the end of 2016 to revitalize the premium sports car market in 2017.
