This is what a mobile motel from Renault looks like for a trip to the sports vacations.

The new touring show car is fully electrically powered, contains numerous components made from recycled materials and thus blends seamlessly into the natural environment. It will be unveiled at the IAA Transportation in Hanover on September 19.

The comfort of a 5-star hotel
Last year, Renault presented the Hippie Caviar Hotel show car, based on the Trafic, in response to the growing desire for travel and freedom. It offers the opportunity to contemplate nature at close quarters while enjoying the comfort and amenities of a 5-star hotel.

To meet these needs on the market, the Renault Trafic Space Nomad was launched in July - the first converted model version available directly from the Renault product portfolio.

The basis is the Kangoo L2 E-Tech Electric
Renault is now moving on to the second chapter of its product strategy with the Hippie Caviar Motel show car. The van based on the Kangoo L2 E-Tech Electric is an agile and robust accommodation for adventurous people who like to move around outdoors.

The Motel Hippie Caviar is designed as a base camp that can move effortlessly from one place to the next. It offers a 90 kW electric motor and a range of 285 kilometers with the 45 kWh battery. It can be recharged for 170 kilometers in 30 minutes.

The bench becomes a comfortable bed
Several storage compartments make it possible to store sports equipment inside and outside the vehicle, and the roof is equipped with a luggage rack for skis. The fold-down seat bench becomes a comfortable bed.

The show car is also an example of Renault's strategy to reduce CO2 emissions throughout the entire product life cycle. In addition to the all-electric drive, this includes the shelves and the floor made from recycled tires and cork.
