Ram: Powerhouse Ram 1500 comes as mild hybrid
LINE-UP IN EUROPE The new Ram 1500 is also available in Europe through Klintberg & Way Automotive. The company is a major player in the import, sales and service of the traditional Dodge and Ram brands.
Ram is synonymous with durability, efficiency, performance and comfort with features new to a pickup truck. The Ram 1500 has a towing capacity of up to 3500 kilograms and payloads of more than 1045 kilograms.
The 5.7-liter V8 is now combined with a 48-volt mild hybrid module and, as an eTorque, improves fuel efficiency by around eight to ten percent compared with the basic V8 concept. Maximum output is 395 hp, maximum torque 730 Nm.
Leather seats and Alcantara headliner
The Limited 10th Anniversary Edition model completes the product range. It features an exclusive Blue Shade exterior color, a multifunction tailgate, a cold-end exhaust and polished 22-inch wheels.
Also included are quilted leather seats in Indigo Sea Salt, an Alcantara headliner and A-pillars with suede, and 19-speakers with a Harman Kardon sound system. The program also includes the six model versions Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited and TRX.
Customized content, features and services
Standard on all Ram-1500-DT models is the Uconnect-5 infotainment system, whose flexibility allows the system to continually evolve to offer new content, features and services.
The new models also include the Clean Air system as standard, which filters out up to 95 percent of airborne particles.
Currently, the KWA Europe network consists of more than 100 dealers in 15 countries, including Switzerland.
