Twelve years ago, Porsche first presented the 911 as a GTS model. Now the new edition of this variant is here, with a six-cylinder boxer engine that produces 480 hp, 30 hp more than in the current 911 Carrera S.
The turbocharged three-liter delivers a maximum torque of 570 Nm, 20 Nm more than its predecessor. For the standard sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé with eight-speed dual-clutch transmission needs just 3.3 seconds. Alternatively, a seven-speed manual transmission is also available for all GTS models.
Five body and drive variants
The new GTS models are available at prices starting at 174,000 Swiss francs in the Coupé, Cabriolet and Targa body variants and with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Swiss customers benefit from an extended warranty as well as the Porsche Swiss Package at no extra charge, which includes power-folding exterior mirrors, Power Steering Plus, tire sealant with compressor, darkened LED Matrix headlights with Dynamic Light System Plus, as well as a Bose surround sound system and front and rear parking assistants.
In the Coupé and Cabriolet, the PASM adaptive chassis control system is combined with a body lowered by ten millimeters.
Interior made of noble microfiber material
Black is the dominant color in the interior, and numerous components made of the microfiber material Race-Tex ensure a dynamic ambience. In addition, the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management offers many improvements in operation and connectivity.
In silk gloss black painted nose spoiler
Externally, the 911 GTS also received numerous black or darkened details, such as the characteristic bar including Targa lettering on the Targa 4 GTS.
Other elements painted in silky black include the lip of the front spoiler, the alloy wheels with center lock, and the GTS lettering on the doors and rear.
Seats with electric four-way adjustment
Sporty details include a GT steering wheel and the Sport Chrono Package with mode switch, the Track Precision app and a tire temperature display, as well as sport seats with four-way power adjustment.
