Porsche: Here's how the next Macan will look 🎥

POWER In two years, the first all-electric Macan will be released - and the first test for Porsche's move into e-mobility. The Stuttgart-based company is pursuing a two-pronged strategy to avoid alienating its customers. The new Macan GTS takes the place of the Macan Turbo with a power jump of 60 to 440 hp. The new Macan GTS takes the place of the Macan Turbo with a jump in output of 60 hp to 440 hp.

The best-selling SUV launched in 2014 has been revised again after 2017. As a result, the Macan will only be available with three engines in the future, albeit with significantly more powerful ones.

Porsche Macan GTS
The last Macan as a combustion engine has to complete its model phase-out with three engines - which have it all.

Surface optics emphasizes the flanks
From the outside, little is visible of the second facelift. A new front end gives it a wider look, and the modified rear end with black diffuser sets it apart from its predecessor. Sideblades in a 3D surface look emphasize the sportily shaped flanks.

Less haptic controls
The interior has also been spruced up. In the future, the cockpit will feature a new center console with a clean glass look and a touch-sensitive surface that only has a few haptic controls. Porsche's infotainment system, on the other hand, is still controlled via a 10.9-inch touchscreen.

There are also new materials, a shortened gear selector lever, a standard analog clock, multifunction and GT sports steering wheels from the 911, and new interior and equipment packages with leather and contrasting stitching in the colors of the exterior paint.

More horsepower and torque for beginners
The entry-level model is powered by a newly developed 2-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 265 hp, another 20 hp more than its predecessor, and with torque that has also been increased by 30 to 400 Nm, it brings impressive agility to the road.

The two all-wheel-drive 2.9-liter V6 model variants have also enjoyed a power makeover. In the Macan S, output climbed by 26 to 380 hp and torque by 40 to 520 newton meters, which puts it in the same position as the current GTS.

The new Macan GTS takes the place of the Macan Turbo, which is being dropped without replacement, with a leap in power of 60 to 440 hp. This makes GTS the role the sporty flagship of the model series with GTS-typical black accents and similarly painted 21-inch wheels in RS design.

Warranty extension and Swiss Package
The new models can be ordered now and will be delivered in Switzerland from the beginning of October 2021. Prices in Switzerland start at 77,000 Swiss francs for the Macan, 87,800 Swiss francs for the Macan S, and 108,600 Swiss francs for the Macan GTS, each with country-specific equipment. Customers benefit from an extended warranty (2 + 2) and the Porsche Swiss Package.
