The 2.9-liter V6 biturbo produces 380 hp. An increase of 20 hp over the predecessor. Combined with the optimized dual-clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, the GTS sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. That makes it three tenths faster than before.
The chassis, which has been lowered by 15 millimeters, allows even more lateral dynamics in conjunction with the specially tuned Porsche Active Suspension Management damper control. That's where the joy comes in.

Sports car spontaneity
The air suspension makes the GTS a comfortable glider. In conjunction with the standard 20-inch RS Spyder design wheels and the generously dimensioned cast-iron brakes, the Macan GTS impresses with the agility and spontaneity of a genuine sports car.
Acoustically, the driving pleasure in the GTS is underlined by the standard and specifically tuned sports exhaust system.
Direct response
The source of the sound experience is the 2.9-liter V6 engine, whose central-turbo layout with the two turbochargers enables particularly direct response. Maximum torque of 520 Nm (plus 20 Nm) is available over a broad plateau from 1750 to 5000 rpm.
Appearance with character
The new GTS also underlines its exceptional sporty stance visually. The standard Sport Design package with new front and rear fascia and distinctive side sills gives it a characteristic appearance.
The front apron and front section feature black-painted elements - a distinguishing feature of all GTS models.
The LED main headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System and the three-dimensional taillights with LED light strip are dimmed.
Safety and comfort
The adaptive cruise control including traffic jam assist, the parking assist including rear view camera and surround view, a heated windshield and the air purifier meet the desire for safety and comfort.
