Like the original, the new Boxster combines the bordeaux red interior with a red soft top.
With the 400 hp naturally aspirated version of the four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, the anniversary Boxster rolls onto the starting line with ample engine power and optimum mid-engine driving characteristics. So for the time being, there is no end to the fun of the car.
The design features of the concept car, which heralded the success story of this model at the 1993 Detroit Motor Show, are also characteristic. The production version, with only minor visual changes, was finally launched in 1996.
Jet black metallic and Carrara white metallic
Porsche offers the Boxster 25 years in GT Silver Metallic. Deep Black Metallic and Carrara White Metallic are also available. One of the most striking features is the shimmering copper-like Neodyme color, which appears on the front apron, the side air intakes, the lettering and the two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels.
Another striking element is the fuel filler cap with Porsche lettering from the Exclusive Design range.
Interior in fine bordeaux red leather
Like the historic original, the special model combines a burgundy leather interior with a red fabric soft top.
Features include the aluminum interior package, 14-way electrically adjustable sports seats, door sill trims with Boxster 25 lettering and a heated GT multifunction sports steering wheel.
Agile mid-engine spurter with a top speed of 293 km/h
The six-cylinder boxer engine of the 718 GTS 4.0 models is extremely powerful and very free-revving, offering correspondingly great driving pleasure. There is a choice between a manual six-speed gearbox and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The special model reaches a top speed of 293 km/h and, in combination with the standard Sport Chrono package, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.
The active sports suspension including lowering by ten millimetres and torque vectoring control with mechanical rear axle differential lock are also on board as standard.
Top-engined models are particularly popular
Incidentally, Porsche was able to hold its own in Switzerland last year with 3510 customer deliveries from the official dealer network, down 5.7 percent on the previous year.
The Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer thus significantly increased its share of the overall market. The Macan GTS and 911 Turbo S models, the new plug-in hybrids based on the Cayenne and Panamera series and the first all-electric Taycan sports car sold particularly well.
Once again, the brand's top-engined models were in particular demand in Switzerland. The jubilarian fits in perfectly with this.
