Polestar: Number 2 on sale from mid-2020

The car has two electric motors that provide all-wheel drive. The power is rated at a combined 300 kW (408 hp), and maximum torque is 660 newton meters. The 78-kWh battery enables a WLTP range of 500 kilometers. The 100 km/h sprint should be possible in under five seconds.
Forged 20 inch wheels
A performance package with Öhlins shock absorbers and forged 20-inch wheels is optional. Polestar tries to back up its premium claim with gold-colored seat belts and valve caps. The Polestar 2 is equipped (optionally) with gold-colored Brembo four-piston front brake calipers.
Special light for welcoming
Frameless exterior mirrors are also said to be typical of the Polestar brand. The brand name is the English expression for the North Star, whose schematic representation also provides the logo.
The illuminated Polestar emblem is reflected on the panoramic glass roof. Other design features include matrix LED headlights and a special welcome light.
Voice control is part of the system
Unusually, the infotainment system works with Android as the operating system. This means that Google Assistant (a personal assistant like Amazon's Alexa), Google Maps and Google Play Store (Google's app store) are also on board for the first time.
