Polestar: The convertible is number 6 🎥
STROMER ABOVE WITH electric carmaker Polestar confirms plans to produce the electric roadster as a production vehicle. The market launch of the Polestar 6 Electric Performance Roadster is targeted for 2026.
Due to the great response from customers, Polestar has decided to produce the roadster shown as a concept study in Los Angeles in March as a production vehicle. The new open-top car will be called Polestar 6.
650 kW and torque of 900 Nm
Hardtop convertible, based on the familiar bonded aluminum platform, was developed in-house and features the powerful 800-volt electric architecture already confirmed for the Polestar 5.
The Swedes are aiming for an output of up to 650 kW (884 hp) and a torque maximum of 900 Nm. With a dual-motor powertrain, the vehicle is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
Reserve production slot online in advance
To celebrate the market launch in a fitting manner, 500 numbered examples of the special LA Concept version are to be produced initially. These will then be exclusively equipped with the Sky blue exterior, the light leather interior and the special 21-inch wheels of the Polestar Oâ‚‚ concept car.
The production confirmation will be announced at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Monterey, California. Interested parties in all markets where Polestar is already represented can reserve a production slot in advance online. Prices have not yet been determined.
