PERFORMANCE-GT In the new episode of the YouTube documentary series "Precept: From Concept to Car," Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar previews the final design of the Polestar 5 model.
The Polestar 5 is an electrically powered performance GT. The model shows the future of the brand.
The docu-series on YouTube documents the transformation of the Polestar Precept concept car into the Polestar 5, an electrically powered, four-door performance GT slated for launch in 2024.
Thomas Ingenlath, CEO Polestar: "With the Precept docu-series, we are deliberately doing something that automakers don't normally do. We take a look behind the scenes and show how we will turn this vehicle into reality. It makes me proud to see how much of the concept car's design has gone into the Polestar 5."
Design, sustainability and technology
The third part of the series focuses on the exterior design and provides a close look at the vehicle and its path to production. Precept was developed to provide a glimpse of Polestar's future. It embodies the company's key pillars: design, sustainability, engineering. The evolution of the Polestar 5's sustainability and engineering features will be further covered in future episodes of the series.
Public tour of the states
Confirmation of the Polestar 5 designation for the Precept concept car comes on the eve of its North American debut, where Polestar presentations will be held in New York City to select investors and analysts during the first week of December. After that, the Precept will embark on a public tour of the U.S. and be on display at Polestar Spaces across the country.
