Automatic or manual transmission
Four efficient powertrains are available for both the compact car and the station wagon in the 308. The weaker engines are each equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, while an eight-speed automatic is available as an option for the two more powerful units.

308 GTi remains in the program
The gasoline engine is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 110 or 130 hp. There are only four-cylinder diesels.

The smaller 1.5-liter diesel produces 100 hp, while the two-liter engine provides 130 hp. Those who do not find what they are looking for in this performance range can still fall back on the Peugeot 308 GTi with 263 hp and 340 Nm.

Adjustment of the equipment levels
The range of assistants has been expanded. The list now includes, among other things, automatic cruise control, a rearview camera with 180-degree surround view, automatic parking assist, drowsiness warning, and high beam assist.

With the new model year, Peugeot is also rearranging the equipment levels. The three basic levels Active, Allure and GT can be extended by the "Pack" option.

The Swiss prices have not yet been determined.
