The new Peugeot 308 SW belongs to the popular station wagon compact segment, which has remained constant since 2010 despite large SUV competition. With a length of 4.64 meters and a wheelbase of 2.73 meters, the station wagon offers plenty of space for passengers and luggage.

Variability for everyday use is ensured thanks to the second row of seats, which can be divided into three parts (40:20:40) and is equipped with controls for easy folding. A cargo space of up to 1630 liters and a two-part luggage compartment floor are available for luggage.

Digital instrument cluster with 10-inch display
The 308 SW is equipped with an enhanced i-Cockpit. This includes a compact, heated steering wheel with integrated controls and a digital instrument cluster with a 10-inch display and a 10-inch HD central touchscreen with i-Connect, the intuitive and connected infotainment system.

The air conditioning can be controlled with i-Toggles, and connectivity is available via USB-C ports. The latest generation of driver assistance systems is also on board.

Plug-in hybrid, gasoline or diesel at launch
The Peugeot 308 SW is available as a plug-in hybrid and as a gasoline or diesel. The two plug-in hybrids 180 e-EAT8 and 225 e-EAT8 combine a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 150 or 180 hp and an electric motor with 81 kW (110 hp) with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The front wheels are driven with system outputs of 180 or 225 hp. The battery can be charged from a household outlet in new hours or from a wallbox with the optional on-board charger in just under two hours.

The 308 SW will be manufactured at the Mulhouse plant and will be launched on the Swiss market in early 2022.
