The Mokka is the first Opel to show the Vizor, the new, unmistakable brand face.

The all-new Mokka makes a powerful appearance, is ultra-modern and is fun to drive in every respect. In fact, there comes and stands whole guy. As an electric vehicle, the Blitz is completely emission-free.

Changed perception of the brand

Opel CEO Michael Lohscheller: "The new Mokka is an eye-catcher and will change the perception of our brand. With it, we are reinventing Opel and showing our design language for the next ten years. The Mokka is the first Opel to go electric from market launch."

Sufficient space for five people
The new Mokka offers ample space for five people and a comparable load volume of up to 350 liters. With a length of just 4.15 meters, the car is nimble around town and can easily park in tight spaces. The exterior is characterized by short overhangs and a balanced, wide stance.

Up to 322 kilometers purely electric
The new Mokka is the first model in Opel's history to go electric right from the market launch. The electric motor delivers 100 kW (equivalent to 136 hp) of power and 260 Newton meters of maximum torque from a standing start.

The driver can choose between the three driving modes Normal, Eco and Sport depending on his or her needs and mood. The electronically limited top speed is 150 km/h. In Normal mode, the Mokka e can travel up to 322 kilometers in purely electric mode according to the WLTP cycle.

At a 100 kW DC charging station (for which the Mokka-e is equipped as standard), the 50 kWh battery can be recharged up to 80 percent in 30 minutes via fast charging.

Brand face and cockpit design
The Mokka is the first brand representative to showcase the Opel Vizor. The elegant horizontal element stretches across the entire front of the vehicle below the hood, framing brand features such as the IntelliLux LED matrix headlights and the characteristic wing-shaped LED daytime running lights. The eye-catcher in the center is the legendary Opel flash.

Wide screens and central display
This line is consistently continued in the interior: the linchpin is the Opel Pure Panel, which repeats the design of the Opel Vizor in the interior.

Two wide screens, one of which is up to twelve inches in size, greet the driver and passengers. The central display faces the driver; the focus is on the displays, the air vents recede into the background.

All variants come with LED lights
The new Mokka competes in the B segment with top innovations that were recently only available in the luxury class. All variants are equipped with the latest generation of LED lamps - from the daytime running lights in typical Opel graphics to the fog lights at the front.

A real highlight in this vehicle class is the adaptive IntelliLux LED matrix light. As in the Insignia, Astra and the new Corsa, the light system offers driving with continuous high beam. In the process, the LED elements cut out oncoming vehicles or those ahead.

Extensive infotainment offering
Mokka drivers and passengers are perfectly connected and entertained with the new infotainment range. The Multimedia Radio and Multimedia Navi with 7-inch color touchscreen are available, as is the top-of-the-line Multimedia Navi Pro system with high-resolution 10-inch color touchscreen. The monitors are integrated into Opel's new Pure Panel and ideally positioned towards the driver.

OpelConnect helps in every situation
With OpelConnect and the myOpel app, there is a range of services and operating options via smartphone that make using Opel's electric models such as the new Mokka-e even more practical and convenient. OpelConnect also offers a direct connection to roadside assistance and emergency calls.

If the seat belt pretensioners or airbags are triggered, the system automatically sends an emergency call. Live Navigation allows traffic events to be recorded in real time and traffic jams to be dynamically avoided.

The Mokka generation will be available to order from late summer 2020 and will be on sale from early 2021. Prices have not yet been fixed.
