The Zafira-e Life has the 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor that also powers the Opel Corsa-e and the Peugeot e-208. The maximum torque is 260 Newton meters, and the top speed is limited to 130 km/h.
Depending on requirements, two battery sizes are available, which should ensure a range of around 230 kilometers or up to 330 kilometers.
80 percent charge in 30 minutes
At a fast charging station with 100 kW direct current, the 50 kWh battery of the Zafira-e Life can be recharged to 80 percent in 30 minutes. For the large 75 kWh battery, this takes 45 minutes.
In addition to the option of single-phase charging at any socket, an 11-kW on-board charger for three-phase alternating current, so-called three-phase current, is also available on request.
Over 160,000 charging points across Europe
The Charge My Car function of the Free2Move services enables the use of over 160,000 charging points across Europe - including payment.
The charging point finder lists all registered charging stations on a map. In addition to the distance to the charging station, it also provides information about the charging speed on site and the current price.
Thanks to the new Opel Connect functions, customers can also use their smartphone to check the battery charge status, program the interior temperature before starting the journey and the charging times.
Enough space for up to nine people
Like the combustion models, the Zafira-e is available in three length versions (S, M and L), although the short version will not be available until early next year.
Opel offers leather seats for all variants. Configurations for five, six, seven or nine people are available. Depending on the version, the Zafira-e Life can tow trailer loads of up to one ton.
