The Opel Rocks-e is 2.41 meters short, just under 1.40 meters and weighs 475 kilograms. A panoramic glass roof is standard on the vehicle, which is available in three trim levels. The two seats are offset next to each other, giving the front passenger plenty of legroom and the footwell a storage volume of up to 63 liters.
Ranges of up to 75 kilometers
A smartphone holder is located centrally on the center console. The 5.5 kWh battery enables ranges of up to 75 kilometers and can be 100 percent recharged in around three and a half hours via any standard household socket. The small four-wheeled light vehicle can be driven at its top speed of 45 km/h.
Same parts on the front and rear
The concept, familiar from the Ami from the Group's sister company Citroën, combines ideas that are as simple as they are clever. For example, the left and right doors of the two-seater are identical - the passenger side has a front entry and the driver's side a rear entry. Identical parts are also found at the front and rear.
Opel has not yet announced the price. Citroën offers the Ami in France at prices starting at just under 7000 euros. It is not yet clear whether the mini-format electric car will also be available in Switzerland.
