Opel: Astra Sports Tourer as a plug-in hybrid
SUSTAINABLE The new Astra Sports Tourer from Opel is also offered as a plug-in hybrid, initially with up to 180 hp and later with 225 hp system peak output. Below that are gasoline and diesel engines with 110 hp to 130 hp.
With a length of 4.64 meters, the Astra Sport Tourer will be six centimeters shorter than its predecessor, but has a 5.7 centimeter longer wheelbase. With a low loading edge of around 60 centimeters, the station wagon offers 608 to 1634 liters of capacity, the PHEV variants 70 liters less due to the battery in the underbody.
The rear seat bench folds in three and forms a flat surface with the luggage compartment floor when the backrests are folded down. The cargo area cover can be stowed in a compartment when not in use.
Cockpit Pure Panel and self-developed seats
Like the sedan, of course, the Sports Tourer gets the Vizor brand face, optional adaptive Intelli-Lux LED lights familiar from the Insignia and Grandland X, the fully digital Pure Panel cockpit, and seats developed in-house that are certified by Aktion Gesunder Rücken.
Depending on the trim level, features also include side bolster adjustment, a driver's seat with climate control and massage function, and heated rear seats.
