According to the supplier, the Insignia Country Tourer boasts the same virtues as its Grand Sport and Sports Tourer brothers: spacious and yet significantly lighter than the predecessor model thanks to the completely new architecture.
Country Style
It also boasts country-style charm: black trim all around and silver-colored underride protection elements at the front and rear give it an off-road look. The four-wheeler is available to order now from 44,900 Swiss francs (list price minus the Flex premium) and will be rolling into Swiss dealerships as early as November.
Equipped for adventure
Power is provided by turbocharged gasoline and turbodiesel engines. The top powerplant on the diesel side is the new 2.0 BiTurbo diesel with 154 kW/210 hp. The top gasoline engine is the two-liter turbo direct-injection unit with 191 kW/260 hp. In combination with the new eight-speed automatic transmission, both engines provide plenty of driving pleasure.

In addition to 20 millimeters more ground clearance, the standard all-wheel drive with torque vectoring and new five-link rear axle are particularly beneficial to the desire to drive off the beaten track.
