vw 1.5
The new 1.5 TSI for the Golf series can be ordered with immediate effect. It is available for the Comfortline, Highline and Swissline equipment packages.

With the new generation of engines, the Golf and Golf Variant are efficient on the road, according to the supplier. The direct-injection turbo four-cylinder works according to the Miller combustion process. This results in increased efficiency and thus low fuel consumption, which in the Golf - depending on the equipment - averages between 5.0 and 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers (factory specification).

High torque
The maximum torque of 200 Newton meters is already available at 1400 rpm and is available over the entire rev range up to 4000 rpm. The top speed of the Golf 1.5 TSI is 210 km/h (all factory figures). Also new in the Golf is the so-called "coasting function". In conjunction with a DSG gearbox, the engine switches off completely when the driver takes their foot off the accelerator in the speed range up to 130 km/h. A compact lithium-ion battery supplies the electrical consumers such as windshield wipers, headlights and audio system with power.

Cylinder deactivation
When driving in the speed range between 1400 and 3200 rpm, the system switches off two of the four cylinders depending on the load. This also significantly reduces fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. The 1.5 TSI with 130 PS/96 kW is now available to order in Switzerland for both the Golf and Golf Variant in the Comfortline and Highline equipment lines as well as with the "SwissLine" equipment package. Prices start at CHF 29,550 for the Golf and from CHF 31,700 for the Golf Variant in combination with the six-speed manual gearbox. With a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG), the price list starts at CHF 31,950 for the Golf and CHF 34,100 for the Golf Estate.
