The last 3 Wheelers from Morgan are offered for 55 000 francs each without taxes.

To this day, Morgan handcrafts sports cars based on the classic roadster pattern. The most unusual model in the program for almost ten years now is the new edition of the 3 Wheeler, a modern variant of the open three-wheeled car presented in 1909 and subsequently produced until 1952.

The Morgan 3 Wheeler series is coming to an end with the launch of 33 special models.

Base coatings in black or white
The P101 differs significantly from the base model in many design features. It is available in the basic black or white paint finishes, each of which is available in the four equipment lines Belly Tank, Dazzleship, Aviator and Race Car. The car can be further customized with an extensive range of optional features.

Up to 100 km/h in just a few seconds
Characteristic for the appearance of the exotic vehicle are the V2 twin-liter engine openly installed in front of the front axle, the four large, round main and auxiliary headlights, the aerodynamically shaped rims of the front wheels in the special model and the single drive wheel at the rear.

With an engine output of 69 or 83 hp, the three-wheeler weighing less than 600 kilograms can accelerate to 100 km/h in six or seven seconds respectively.

Prototype with purely electric drive?
The last 33 units of the 3 Wheeler will be launched in Europe and the USA at a price of 45,000 pounds (around 55,000 Swiss francs excluding taxes). Production started at the Morgan plant in Malvern, Worcestershire, a few days ago.

Those who can't get their hands on one of the last 33 models can hope.

Steve Morris, Chairman & CEO, Morgan Motor Company, said, "The 3 Wheeler is coming back after a break in production. Once the 33 units are built, a new chapter begins with three-wheelers."

Prototypes already shown suggest that a successor could also be electrically powered.
