Morgan: The Super 3 shows the future 🎥
A SPECIAL kind of driving pleasure It's nice to see that something like this still exists: With the Super 3, Morgan is giving the legendary 3-wheeler a future even after 113 years - and without electric drive, but with a three-cylinder engine from Ford.
Customers can choose from 200 accessory options and accessories for their Super 3.
The 1.5-liter engine produces 118 hp at 6500 rpm. The maximum torque of 150 Newton meters is available at 4500 rpm.
Thanks to an unladen weight of 635 kilograms, the Morgan Super 3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in seven seconds and reaches a top speed of 209 km/h.
Five-speed manual from Mazda MX-5
The gears are changed via the five-speed manual from the Mazda MX-5. The steering wheel and pedals are adjustable for optimum seating position. The instrument displays now operate digitally. They are dust-tight and splash-proof.
A USB port is also on board. In addition to the rear rack, luggage can also be carried in corresponding net-like devices on the side of the body.
Typical appearance of the tricycle
Due to the engine change, the Super 3 no longer carries its drive unit (previously V2) openly in front of it. The previously external exhaust also disappears under the body and only peeks out at the end next to the vehicle.
Despite the now largely integrated engine, the designers have succeeded in bringing the typical appearance of the tricycle into the modern age. The engine front remains open. This much original car fun can be had for a good 50,000 Swiss francs.
