All lines push forward in an arrow shape - the design exudes pure dynamism. With its length of 4.40 meters, the compact SUV appears larger than it actually is.

Mitsubishi's Eclipse Cross shows how much car you can get for your money these days. In addition to the sophisticated ergonomics (including many storage compartments), we were impressed by the large number of electronic aids such as the collision warning system, lane departure warning and blind spot assist. But we also appreciated the adaptive cruise control, the head-up display and the high-beam assistant. The SAWC 4×4 system developed by Mitsubishi regulates driving dynamics and braking forces.

The driver steers and the transmission thinks
The SAWC 4×4 system developed by Mitsubishi controls driving dynamics and braking forces individually at all wheels, primarily by controlling the torque distribution between the left and right sides of the vehicle. As a driver, you therefore only have to concentrate on the road. The pleasantly large side mirrors and rear window help with this.

At launch 1.5-liter turbo direct-injection engine
The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross can be ordered in 14 variants from Mitsubishi dealers in Switzerland. Accessory packages offer additional customization options. At present, only the 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine with 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque is available; a 2.2-liter diesel engine has been announced.

Five years warranty is always included
The new crossover SUV is available from just 23,999 Swiss francs (front-wheel drive, 6-speed manual), while the 4×4 variant with CVT automatic transmission starts at 27,999 Swiss francs. Always included are five years of warranty! Read more about what you can expect from Mitsubishi in the future in the multi-page special in the April issue of AutoSprintCH.
