Mitsubishi: This is the ASX compact SUV
FIRST DATA The Mitsubishi ASX model, which is identical in construction to the Renault Captur, will be available as a gasoline engine and as a mild, full and plug-in hybrid model. The power spectrum of the compact SUV ranges from 91 hp to 159 hp.
The new generation of the Mitsubishi ASX compact SUV will be launched in March. In addition to the choice of powertrain - from a small gasoline engine to a mild hybrid to a full or plug-in hybrid version - customers have to choose between four equipment variants: Base, Plus, Intro Edition and Top.
As an entry-level version, the ASX is available with a 1-liter gasoline engine and standard Bi-LED headlights, cruise control, 17-inch wheels and Bluetooth-enabled 7-inch infotainment system and two USB interfaces.
No compromise on safety
Mitsubishi makes no compromises when it comes to safety and driving assistance. Parking assistance and a rearview camera make everyday life easier, as do the integrated traffic sign recognition and emergency call function.
Even greater safety is provided by the collision warning system, which detects cyclists as well as pedestrians, and the emergency braking and lane departure warning systems. Always on board is the comprehensive 5-year vehicle warranty up to 100,000 kilometers and an 8-year warranty on the battery.
Five drive variants in the program
On the European markets, in addition to the base model 1-liter gasoline engine with 91 hp, there are the 1.3 with 140 hp and 1.3 T with 158 hp variants as well as the two hybrids 1.6 MHEV with 143 hpand 1.6 PHEV with 159 hp. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a multi-mode automatic transmission in the hybrid versions.
