Rockingham GT
Only 135 examples of the Rockingham GT will be produced for fans in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

The name of the Rockingham GT edition model refers to a British racetrack and to a model variant of the Classic Mini that achieved spectacular success in touring car racing in the wild 1970s.

Sportiest variant of the classic Clubman
Rockingham Motor Speedway is a legendary race track in the English county of Northamptonshire, used for motorsport until 2018. It consists of a high-speed oval and a circuit in the infield, whose track, up to 3299 meters long, was also the venue for races of the British Touring Car Championship.

The Mini 1275 GT is one of the legends in the history of the BTCC. British racing driver Richard Longman entered the sportiest version of the classic Mini Clubman in this competition in 1978. In twelve races, Longman took ten class victories with the Mini 1275 GT, securing overall victory in the national touring car series at the end of the season.

Model-specific design features in the exterior
The Rockingham GT shows its connection to these milestones in British racing history with model-specific design features on the exterior and in the interior.

Side stripes, whose design is based on the corresponding decor of the Classic Mini 1275 GT, bear the Mini Rockingham GT inscription, as does the interior surface on the passenger side.

TwinPower Turbo technology with 178 or 231 hp
The engine options available for the Rockingham GT ensure performance in keeping with the sporty appearance. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines with TwinPower Turbo technology produce 178 hp in the Cooper S and 231 hp in the John Cooper Works. This enables the edition model to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.8 and 6.3 seconds respectively.

Connected Navigation Plus and Head-up Display
Among other features, the Rockingham GT has an Innovation Package including Driving Assistant, Active Cruise Control, Connected Navigation Plus and Head-up Display.

Also on board are automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors, Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear, and the Harman/Kardon hi-fi speaker system.

Prices for the base model start at 33,100 Swiss francs. The rich equipment package for the Rockingham GT costs 11,400 francs - with a price advantage of 6500 francs after all.
