Shortly after the sedan and estate, the two-door models are also benefiting from extensive revisions. Here is an overview of the most important upgrades:
- New four-cylinder engines, some with a 48-V on-board network (EQ Boost) that is unique in this segment, for sporty driving pleasure with high efficiency.
- Further development of the sporty design, particularly at the front and rear, new alloy wheels, new colors.
- Standard LED High Performance headlights with new design or optional Multibeam LED headlights with Ultra Range high beam.
- Upgraded interior with digital cockpit (31.2 cm/12.3 inches), larger media display (26 cm/10.25 inches), new multifunction steering wheel with touch control buttons. Many options for individualization, e.g. with new open-pore trim elements.
- Lounge atmosphere thanks to ambient lighting with now 64 colors and Energizing comfort control to enhance well-being and fitness.
- Additional sound system with nine speakers and an output of 225 watts as a new optional extra between the standard sound system and the Burmester surround sound system.
- Customizable driving experience with new Dynamic Body Control suspension with three-stage variable damping characteristics and sport direct steering or air suspension (Air Body Control).
- Pioneering safety thanks to the latest driving assistance systems from Mercedes-Benz with S-Class functions and cooperative support for the driver.

Premiere in New York
The Coupé and Cabriolet will celebrate their world premiere at the New York International Auto Show (March 30 to April 8). The new two-door C-Class models will be in dealerships from July 2018.
