Where many a Daimler driver likes to enjoy his free time, he has so far had to do without his Mercedes: on the golf course. But soon he won't have to. Can't? Yes, it can! Together with fans of the brand, Mercedes-Benz developed a vehicle that is supposed to meet the needs of every golfer. The result has now been presented with a wink as "a real sports car": the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car.
The design reminds a bit of a Smart. But this is no coincidence. The Golf Cart combines many design elements of Daimler's road models. Mercedes-Benz also demonstrates a sense of style in this project and stands out from the crowd of normal Golf Carts: The curved windshield protects the occupants from rain and the lightweight carbon roof is color-contrasting. Furthermore, all of the cart's functions are controlled via a central display. Among other things, a navigation system is built into the ten-inch touchpad. Scores can also be saved here.
An under-seat refrigerator, LED headlights and taillights round out the ensemble. So far, there are only two Golf Mercedes in the world, but series production is set to begin soon.
