McLaren: This is how the 720S Spider drives 🎥
HINGUCKER It looks fast, and it is. It looks uncomfortable, but the McLaren 720S Spider is by no means that. If you want to cruise at higher speeds, you're in the right place. No one can simply walk past him. Everyone risks at least one look, however admiring. The McLaren 720S Spider is an absolute eye-catcher.
When the start button is pressed, the V8 roars away and immediately goes into a comfy idle. Now press the shift button on the dual-clutch transmission and step on the gas, very gently at first, of course. Tip: The gigantic 720 hp should not be tickled out right away.
Up to 200 km/h in ten seconds
The McLaren is completely easy to drive, feels good, rolls along comfortably, and suggests safety. If you dare to push the gas pedal, you'll experience something incredible: the flounder presses you into the seat with brute force, the engine roars in rpm-dependent symphonies, the gearshifts just fly by, the speedometer needle races to 200 kilometers per hour in less than ten seconds and on and on. And it's far from the end. Over 300 km/h is said to be possible. A rather statistical value on public roads.
Alternative GT with large luggage compartment
The 720S Spider is only of limited use as a motorhome. There is only 58 liters of storage space under the new rear cover. That's what the new McLaren GT is for. And this is where the agony of choice begins.
The proportions of the 4.68-meter-long Briton are reminiscent of the Sports Series models: narrow headlights with typical light signature, a flowing body design with a teardrop-shaped passenger cell and a crisp rear end in the style of the house.
According to McLaren, the brand's satisfied customers wanted more luggage space and better long-distance capability. The wish was immediately put on the wheels.
