McLaren: Magnificent colors for the 60th birthday 🎥

IT CANNOT BE MORE COLORFUL With the special 750S 3-7-59 model, McLaren unveiled a tribute to the historic Triple Crown victories in motorsport to mark the brand's 60th birthday in California.

With the complex 3-7-59 theme, McLaren has unveiled its most sophisticated special livery to date. The motif, designed by the specialists at McLaren Special Operations (MSO), was presented on a special McLaren 750S. The car was unveiled by F1 driver Lando Norris, Indy Car driver Pato O'Ward and former F1 driver Derek Bell.

The McLaren 750S 3-7-59 is also impossible to miss thanks to its extremely eye-catching special paintwork.

Remembering important successes

The 3-7-59 model is a tribute to McLaren's great success in winning the Triple Crown of motorsport with victories at the Indianapolis 500, the Monaco Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Versions with the 3-7-59 motif are built as both Coupé and Spider, but are already completely sold out. The designation 3-7-59 is a reference to the race numbers worn by the winning cars in each of the three Triple Crown victories: the 3 on the M16D driven by Johnny Rutherford in the 1974 Indy 500; the 7 on Alain Prost's McLaren MP4/2, in which he won Monaco in 1984; the 59 on the McLaren F1 GTR driven to victory at Le Mans in 1995 by Yannick Dalmas, Masanori Sekiya and JJ Lehto.

Painting with more than 20 colors

More than 20 colors are used to paint these models. But the Triple Crown story begins for the driver even before he gets in the car. The key fob features a hand-painted artwork that mimics the exterior of the car. The door panels are made of carbon elements painted with the same artwork as the seats, and a 12 o'clock mark on the steering wheel rim and hand-painted carbon paddle shifters are also special features.

Satin black Vortex alloy wheels wrap brake calipers in blue, red and Le Mans gold, another reference to the three Triple Crown winning cars. For more information on the 3-7-59 themed McLaren 750S, visit
