McLaren: 620R comes for track and road
ALL-PURPOSE BOLIDE Sports car manufacturer McLaren announces the 620R, which offers motorsport ingredients in a package that is also approved for road use. The 620R will cost around 330,000 Swiss francs.
The McLaren 620R with 620 hp can be driven on race tracks and normal roads, and with the competition specifications of the McLaren 570S GT4, the 620R can offer a race car experience on any track or road. The production run will be limited to 350 units.
The first deliveries have been announced for February 2020. The price in Germany will be 300,000 euros.
Powerful 620 hp and 620 Newton meters
The basis of the 620R, the McLaren 570S GT4, is a thoroughbred GT racing car that has been attracting more and more customer teams since its first outing in 2017. McLaren is responding to customer requests for this sports coupé package for the road: super-light, 620 hp and 620 Newton meters of maximum torque.
