Mazda occupies a niche with the comparatively inexpensive MX-30 crossover.

The limited edition is attractive with the First Edition package, which offers a customer benefit of 2780 francs with its extensive equipment. The first 100 customers will receive a free eleven kW wallbox worth 1690 francs, which will be supplied and installed by partner TCS.

Range of up to 262 kilometers
Mazda uses "rightsizing" to give an electric vehicle a CO2 advantage in the medium-term electricity mix in Switzerland and Europe, even at lower total mileages.

The 35.5 kWh and therefore relatively lightweight high-voltage battery plays a central role in this. With it, the Mazda MX-30 achieves a range of up to 262 kilometers in the realistic WLTP cycle, while at the same time having a positive impact on CO2 emissions over its lifetime, handling and driving characteristics.

Floating center console
The Human Modern design of the Mazda MX-30 has a friendly appearance, while the passenger compartment conveys a feeling of lightness - also thanks to the freestyle doors that open in opposite directions.

The interior aims to make the occupants feel secure despite all the openness. In addition to a center console that appears to float, materials are used that minimize the environmental impact.

MX-30
With the MX-30, Mazda presents the new electric drive technology e-Skyactiv.

G-Vectoring Control Plus drive technology
With the Mazda MX-30, the manufacturer presents the new electric drive technology
e-Skyactiv. The vehicle is equipped with electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) dynamic handling control to ensure that it follows the driver's commands immediately.

The precise torque control and matching sound provide natural feedback that is tuned to human perception and tells the driver how the car is behaving.

From zero to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds
The e-Skyactiv engine develops an output of 107 kW (145 hp) and a maximum torque of 271 Nm from zero revolutions per minute. According to the factory, the front-wheel drive Mazda MX-30 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and has a locked top speed of 140 km/h. The power consumption is 19.0 kWh per 100 kilometers.

On course without lane markings
In addition to an extended emergency braking assistant, which now also helps to avoid collisions at junctions, new technologies help to keep the vehicle on course even on roads without lane markings.

MX-30
The Mazda MX-30 is made primarily from materials that reduce the environmental impact.

Optimum safety in the event of collisions
Despite the use of freestyle doors and the associated elimination of the fixed B-pillar, the body reliably and efficiently absorbs the energy generated in the event of an accident and thus offers optimum collision safety. The engineers use new technologies and development concepts, including a carefully developed structure to protect the high-voltage battery.

National Test Drive@Home campaign
From July 10, Mazda (Suisse) SA will be offering Test Drive@Home in Switzerland until the end of the summer. The aim of this campaign is to enable all interested parties to get behind the wheel of an all-electric vehicle in the best possible conditions and in a relaxed atmosphere.

Test track according to the driver's wishes
The driver chooses the starting point of the test and the journey of approximately one hour. As the safety of each participant has top priority, each vehicle is thoroughly disinfected between test drives.
