Fun guarantor on the country road: The Mazda 3 SKYACTIV-D 1.5 with 105 hp and 240 Nm.

Mazda's latest introductions include the 1.5-liter diesel engine from the proven SKYACTIV range. The 105 hp may sound a bit weak on the chest at first glance, but that is deceptive: The AutoSprintCH team tested the Mazda 3 SKYACTIV-D 1.5 and was surprised at how much power the car has.

Despite the "only" 105 hp of the 1.5-liter diesel engine, the Mazda was perfectly suited for the left lane. Longer trips are therefore possible with the vehicle without any problems.

Whether automatic or manual transmission, that's up to you. We tested the SKYACTIV-D 1.5 in both versions. If you drive a lot in the city, you should rather buy the automatic version. The base price for the Mazda 3 1.5 Diesel, which will be available in May, is 25,000 Swiss francs.
