The designers of the Mazda3 envisioned a dynamic car with a cat's nose that would look elegant. True.

The dashboards in the All-New Mazda3 are striking, reduced to the bare essentials, petite, slim, wide, manageable.

The All-New Mazda3 has been completely redesigned and could be something of a landmark in its class. The Japanese developers claim that they are not primarily guided by technology and trends, but by people. Driving a car should be fun, easy, uncomplicated. This is something for which the handling, haptics, sounds and smells of the car have been meticulously worked on. With success.

Pleasant handling and menu navigation
Depending on the incidence of light, the outer line looks as if someone has driven into the side of the car; you have to get used to not constantly checking to make sure it's not a bump. The seating feel is balm for the body thanks to sophisticated ergonomic seats, and the cockpit is tidy and easy to control. In other words, a feel-good car.
The infotainment system, which can only be moved with a click and turn, is also pleasant to handle, a simple and safe menu navigation that is less distracting. There is a camera built into the display that scans the gaze of the eyes. If the system realizes that the driver is not looking at the road, the driving assistance and warning systems react sooner. In other words, a feel-good car.
In every situation, the handling of the All-New Mazda3 is friendly. Even on very different road surfaces and in tight corners. You always have the feeling that the car is narrow and compact, and it fits into every gap. This really makes driving fun.

Only two cylinders in use if required
The All-New Mazda3 is only available in Switzerland with the Skyactiv-G 2.0 122 hp gasoline engine (strongest feature: at steady speed, the four-cylinder runs on only two cylinders without loss of power). Sympathetic is the standard solution to offer the Skyactiv-G as a 24 VM hybrid.
There are Hatchback and Sedan versions; Mazda expects 85 percent Hatchback buyers. Delivery of the hatchback is scheduled for the end of March 2019, the sedan will take another six months, and an all-wheel-drive variant has been announced. Prices: from 27,990 francs.
