From the outside, the new colors Rosso Potente and Blu Nobile as well as the fresh wheel designs stand out on the 2019 models - from 18 to 22 inches, depending on the model version.
What remains is the characteristic analog clock
The new infotainment system with 8.4-inch touchscreen stands out in the modified dashboard. The characteristic analog clock remains, of course. The shift lever for the 8-speed automatic transmission has a new design and optimized functionality, and the 5-seater SUV still has 580 liters of luggage space.
Sound from Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins
On the test drive, the Levante shows its comfortable side: Comfortable seats that can be heated and cooled, high-quality sound systems from Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins, and the best all-round visibility. With 600 Nm and 275 hp, the diesel version provides powerful thrust and modest fuel consumption figures. Nevertheless, Maserati customers will prefer the gasoline models with either 350 or 430 hp. After all, the V6 turbocharged engines built by Ferrari provide the so typical soundscape - even if they seem a bit synthetic in certain driving situations. On the traction side, everything is in the green, because the Q4 all-wheel drive system distributes the engine power grip-dependently from 100 percent rear-wheel drive to 50/50. The standard air suspension guarantees good ride comfort with optimum grip.
The Levante is priced between 83,350 (diesel) and 104,150 Swiss francs (Levante S). The Levante model update naturally also includes the two particularly sporty V8 versions, the GTS with 550 hp and 730 Nm and the Trofeo with 590 hp and 730 Nm. However, both will not be available until somewhat later.
