Maserati: Electric premiere from Modena 🎥

TOTALLY AS NEEDED The Maserati Gran Turismo combines sumptuous sports car performance with relaxed coupe travel comfort - both in the versions with V6 combustion engine and with 100 percent electric drive.

 

Maserati's picture-perfect GT coupe, which has been manufactured in a similar form since 2007, is available in the new edition with two gasoline engines or with all-electric drive.

The Modena version competes with the 3-liter V6 biturbo Nettuno engine and 490 hp, while the Trofeo model tickles 550 hp from the same unit.

Maserati FolgoreEquipped with this high-performance engine, the 4.96-meter-long, 1,800-kilogram two-seater sprints to 100 km/h in less than four seconds. The engine power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

The combustion engine versions offer a choice of four driving modes and the ESC-off option, which excludes all electronic controls. A Brembo braking system ensures short braking distances; 20-inchers are fitted at the front and 21-inchers at the rear.

Maserati Folgore
For the model update of the beauty from Modena, the range was expanded to include an electric version.

2.7 seconds to the 100 km/h mark
The Folgore electric version comes with three 300 kW permanent magnet motors. In the overall system, 560 kW are available, and with Boost even 610 kW at short notice (762 and 830 hp respectively) - with a maximum torque of 1350 Nm. The Folgore can reach the 100 km/h mark in just 2.7 seconds.

The all-wheel drive with torque vectoring control ensures optimum traction. The Gran Turismo Folgore is the first model in Maserati's history to feature a 100 percent electric drive system.

The Folgore system is based on 800-volt technology. The battery, which is manufactured Mirafiori plant in Turin, has a nominal capacity of 92.5 kWh.

Special materials in the passenger compartment
Very special attention has been paid to the use of noble materials in the passenger compartment. Integrates the multimedia system MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant), a latest generation infotainment system, a comfort display that includes the main functions of a touch interface, a digital clock and an (optional) head-up display.

At market launch, the new Gran Turismo is also available in the limited Launch Edition Prima Serie 75th Anniversary. Prices are available on request.
